It recognizes individuals whose vision, perseverance, and commitment continue to inspire future generations of scientists and leaders.
This award recognizes outstanding oral presentations that demonstrate clarity and conciseness of ideas, as well as information that is accurate, relevant, objective, comprehensive, engaging, and suited to the audience and context. These presentations also reflect a high level of research depth.
This award recognizes outstanding poster presentations that feature a research topic or method not previously presented or published by others. Eligible posters should demonstrate a well-designed study with appropriate research methods capable of producing meaningful scientific insights, along with a thorough understanding of the research process and results. These presentations reflect a strong depth of research.
Registered students who are current members of either APSS/GA ((submit proof of membership/ Proof of membership-fee payment) and wish to present their scientific findings at the APSS 2026 Congress are eligible to apply for a travel grant. Researchers aged 40 years or younger may apply.
This award recognizes outstanding 90-second oral presentations (“flash talks”) that effectively communicate scientific research in a concise, engaging, and impactful manner. The award highlights the presenter’s ability to capture the audience’s attention, convey complex ideas clearly, and demonstrate the significance of their research within a limited time frame.
