Terms & Conditions

  1. Only registered delegates will be permitted to participate in the congress, scientific sessions and oral/ poster presentations. To attend the congress, you are not obliged to give an oral or a poster presentation. Proof of student/ postdoctoral status is required to register as a student/ postdoctoral fellow.
  2. Once your online registration has been completed, registration is confirmed, and cancellation policies will apply. You will receive an electronic invoice upon completion of the registration process. Please ensure that you comply with your employer’s procurement procedures as you will remain responsible for settlement of your account.
  3. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Registered participants whose payment has not been received will not be allowed to attend the event. Delegates are requested to email proof of payment to info@apss2026.org.za
  4. Early-bird registration should be completed and paid by Friday, 29, May 2026. Congress Registration will close on 30 August 2026. A late surcharge of R2000 per registration will apply thereafter across all categories.
  5. Substitute delegates are allowed until 02 October 2026. The name of the substitute delegate should be provided to the organisers in writing which will be confirmed as a replacement by the organisers.
  6. Registration fees are non-refundable.
  7. Bank charges must be supported by the participant.
  8. The organisers reserve the right to postpone or change the format of the conference if required by special regulations or unforeseen circumstances.
  9. The organisers will not be held responsible for incorrect information captured by individuals during the registration process.
  10. The congress organizers cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, damage or injury to any person or property during the congress, whatever the cause may be. The liability of persons and enterprises providing means of transportation or other services, however, remains unaffected. The participants take part in all tours and trips at his/ her own risk.
