The African Phytomedicine Scientific Society (APSS) invites eligible members to apply for the Product and Book Launch Platform at the 3rd APSS Congress 2026.
This platform provides an inclusive opportunity for innovators, researchers, traditional knowledge holders, and entrepreneurs to showcase newly commercialised plant-based products and publications.
Applications are reviewed for compliance, relevance, and readiness. The process is non-competitive, ethical, and protects all intellectual property.

The APSS Product & Book Launch platform at the 3rd APSS Congress 2026 provides an inclusive showcase for all commercially available plant‑based products and publications. It welcomes SMMEs, Traditional Health Practitioners, researchers, innovators, brand owners, manufacturers and international participants.
The platform enables market exposure, networking and knowledge exchange for any brand launching natural products legally sold in their country of origin.
Participants must be fully paid APSS members up to and including September 2026 (one month before the Congress).
Membership onboarding must be completed prior to application via the official APSS membership platform.
Eligible products include any commercially available product using a plant extract or botanical source as a functional ingredient. This includes—without limitation—cosmetics, personal care, oral care items, nutraceuticals, supplements, teas, tinctures, traditional medicines and botanical veterinary or agricultural products.
Products must have been placed on the market within the 12 months preceding the Congress.
Academic publications are not mandatory. Indigenous Knowledge pathways, technical dossiers, traditional lineage statements and industry R&D evidence are accepted forms of validation.
Quality documentation such as GMP certificates or laboratory analysis may be submitted where available but are not mandatory for participation.
Participants must submit non‑confidential sales summaries covering January 2026 – September 2026 indicating units sold, product names, volumes, applications and key plant ingredients only. No financial statements or invoices are required.
No disclosure of proprietary formulations or supply‑chain partners is required. Intellectual property remains fully protected.
Participants must attest compliance with the Nagoya Protocol and benefit‑sharing principles. Disclosure of sourcing partners is not required.
Participants must submit a high‑resolution company logo, brand profile (150–200 words) and optional product images or website links for promotional use.
Eligible books include content on medicinal plants, ethnobotany, Indigenous Knowledge documentation, phytochemistry, traditional medicine, botanical innovation and agri‑herbal entrepreneurship and must be published within the last 24 months.
Approved participants receive an official launch slot, exhibition space, programme inclusion, promotion across APSS platforms and access to media and networking opportunities.
Participation is guided by inclusivity, commercial readiness, compliance, relevance to plant‑based industries and diversity across knowledge systems.
All submissions are handled confidentially and fairly without institutional preference or competitive disadvantage.
