Dr. Anil Pawar is an Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) and has over 18 years of combined experience in academia and the pharmaceutical industry. His research focuses on pharmacology, ethnopharmacology, network pharmacology, molecular docking, and preclinical evaluation of herbal and natural products for the management of diabetes, arthritis, anemia, urolithiasis, and other chronic disorders.
Dr. Pawar has authored more than 55 peer-reviewed research and review articles, two books, thirteen book chapters, and holds five patents. His work has been published in leading international journals, and his research has attracted competitive grants and industrial consultancy support. He has successfully guided numerous postgraduate students and is currently supervising doctoral research in pharmacology and natural product drug discovery.
An active member of several professional scientific organizations, Dr. Pawar regularly delivers invited lectures at national and international forums. His contributions to pharmaceutical education and research were recognized with the Ideal Teacher Award, and he continues to promote evidence-based integration of traditional medicine with contemporary pharmacological research.
