Prof. Chika I. Chukwuma is an Associate Professor and National Research Foundation (NRF) C2-rated scientist with extensive expertise in molecular pharmacology, diabetes research, neuropharmacology, functional foods, and natural product drug discovery. He has more than nine years of postdoctoral and independent research experience, leading multidisciplinary projects, establishing national and international collaborations, mentoring postgraduate students, obtaining competitive research funding, and translating laboratory findings into therapeutic applications.
